Arranges, directs or provides broad IT support services to employees with IT issues involving desktop, laptop or network services from local personnel or from employees using network remote access. Provides timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customers to appropriate technical personnel. Provides case status updates to management and end-users. Supports and maintains effective relationships with users. Develops, documents and implements standard operating procedures and customers service guidelines relating to IT support.
- Participate in the maintenance of the IT infrastructure performance in the site by monitoring, analyzing, turning and troubleshooting hardware, software, networks and operating systems
- Plan, propose and execute the selection, installation, configuration and testing of IT infrastructure components on site
- Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, escalate when appropriate, and resolve IT infrastructure problems in the site
- Propose and execute systems upgrades in the site in order to keep IT infrastructure updated with current technology status
- Participate in capacity planning in the site in cooperation with end-users, department managers and the global IT Infrastructure team
- Participate in the development of the re-capitalization plan for IT hardware and infrastructure
- Administer the global WIFI network with input from local sites
- Keep the local IT infrastructure inventory updated
- Maintain local backups
- Propose disaster recovery policies, procedures and execute actual disaster recovery situations and test scenarios
- Propose and implement policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure systems’ security through secure system access, monitoring, control, and routine security evaluations
- Participate in the Site Data Integrity Committee, overseeing activities such as the implementation of solutions and the conduction of tasks according to policies and procedures
- Ensure all assigned tasks are properly planned and delivered on time, safely, efficiently, reliably and in a cost-effective manner
- Propose improvements to the area as appropriate and solve problems
- Make quality and timely decisions within the tasks under her / his responsibility
- Gather relevant data to inform the decision makers regarding complex issues
- Comply with all IT governance, standards and policies in practice in Hovione
- Execute professional activities in compliance with GMP and HSE guidelines, internal and external requirements as well as promote the implementation and maintenance of Hovione´s policies, systems and procedures (COPs, HBR, SOPs and others)
- University, or equivalent, qualification in Information Technology or similar scientific field (mandatory)
-Typically requires 3-5 years of relevant experience as a system administrator
- Strong understanding and knowledge of IT infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of GMP / GAMP Guidelines
- Fluency in English is a requirement
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of the MS Office package
