The Capex Project Contract Manager will oversee and manage all contractual aspects of capital expenditure (Capex) projects. This role involves ensuring that all contracts are executed in compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and project objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management, project management, and a deep understanding of Capex projects.

• Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts terms related to Capex projects.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Risk Management: Identify, manage, and mitigate contractual risks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Budget Oversight: In collaboration with the project controls manager, monitor contract budgets, ensuring that contracts expenditures align with approved Capex budgets.
• Contractors Management: Manage relationships with key suppliers and EPCm, EPC, GC contractors, ensuring timely delivery and quality of services and fulfillment of contractual obligations.
• Compliance : Ensure contract compliance by liaising between project managers and other internal departments
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of all contractual documents and communications.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on contract status, project progress, and financial performance.
• Stakeholder management : Liaise with Procurement, Legal, and Project Directors to ensure alignment and effective communication across departments.

• Masters’ degree or equivalent in an Engineering field
• Technical background preferred
• Advanced experience in the managing industrial projects, preferably in Chemical or Pharma companies
• Extensive experience in people management
• Extensive experience in Project management and execution
• Proven leadership experience
• Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask
• Track record of overachieving targets
• Ability to lead and influence others with demonstrated extensive knowledge of Equipment, Systems and generic Engineering solutions applicable in fine chemicals plants
• Extensive knowledge of quality requirements applicable to technical installations
• Extensive knowledge of legislation applicable to engineering projects
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Skilled at driving processes and tools
• Fluent in written and verbal English is a requirement.
• Must have the Knowledge, Experience and Skills to conduct their tasks in accordance with the rules and procedures set down.
