You will be responsible to:

Designs, develops, implements and troubleshoots various information system and cyber security software. Develops, tests and validates solutions to remediate exploitable conditions on devices such as web servers, mail servers, routers, firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Evaluates, codes and implements software fixes to address system vulnerabilities such as malicious code (e.g., viruses), system exploitation using SQL injection, cross-site scripting, buffer overflows, parameter tampering, hidden field manipulation, cookie poisoning and web services manipulation. Conducts security assessments of systems and applications using penetration tests, ethical hacking tools and risk assessment/mediation methodologies to evaluate vulnerabilities.

 

  • Examine internal IT controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine exposure to risk and propose remediation strategies
  • Examine and actively propose improvements to all existing internal IT documentation and operational procedures
  • Lead the proposal and development of new documentation or operational procedures in order to cover gaps from a audit compliance perspective.
  • Collaborate to plan, implement, monitor and upgrade security measures for the protection of the organization´s data, system and networks
  • Participate in all Authority Inspections and Customer Audits or Assessments, coordinating IT participation and related mitigation action plans in place
  • Conduct internal IT audits, complying to all procedures
  • Perform regular audit testing and provide recommendations
  • Review, evaluate and test application controls
  • Ensure all assigned tasks are properly planned and delivered on time, safely, efficiently, reliably and in a cost-effective manner
  • Propose improvements to the area as appropriate and solve problems
  • Make quality and timely decisions within the IT Compliance tasks under her / his responsibility
  • Gather relevant data to inform the decision makers regarding complex issues
  • Comply with all IT governance, standards and policies in practice in Hovione
  • Execute professional activities in compliance with GMP and HSE guidelines, internal and external requirements as well as promote the implementation and maintenance of Hovione´s policies, systems and procedures (COPs, HBR, SOPs and others)
  • Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and to comply with environmental, health & safety rules/procedures, regulations and codes of practice

We are looking to recruit a Candidate:

  • University, or equivalent, qualification in Information Technology or similar scientific field (mandatory)
  • Typically requires 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT compliance or/and IT audit tasks
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of IT audit methodologies
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of risk assessment and management methodologies
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of business continuity management
  • Fluency in English is a requirement
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of the MS Office package
  • Must have the Knowledge, Experience and Skills to conduct their tasks in accordance with the rules and procedures set down.
