As the Senior IT Security Specialist you will design, implement, and troubleshoot cybersecurity solutions across enterprise systems. You shall develop, test, and validate fixes for vulnerabilities on servers, routers, firewalls, and IDS. Remediate threats such as malware, SQL injection, cross-site scripting, buffer overflows, and web-based attacks across multiple sites. You will also evaluate and apply secure code fixes to mitigate system and application risks. Conduct security assessments using penetration testing, ethical hacking tools, and risk analysis methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy, integrate, and configure new or enhanced security solutions following best practices and enterprise standards.

• Safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise systems, data, and networks.

• Enforce compliance with enterprise security policies, procedures, and documentation.

• Oversee investigations of security incidents and maintain communication with stakeholders.

• Lead vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.

• Deliver security awareness training to employees to strengthen compliance and risk prevention.

• Collaborate with IT teams and business units to align on security goals and foster cooperation.

• Stay current with IT security tools, processes, and industry developments.

• Manage complex, high-impact security projects, ensuring timely, data-driven decisions.

• Ensure compliance with IT governance, GMP, HSE, and safety regulations in all activities

• Degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology or related scientific field.

• IT Security experience, with expertise in enterprise security architecture and documentation.

• Advanced knowledge of IT security principles, problem-solving, and industry best practices.

• Familiarity with SAP Security Profiles and awareness of evolving IT systems, trends, and business needs.

• Strong communication skills, with fluency in English and proficiency in MS Office tools.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC, SCCP, ISSAP, or MCSE: Security).
