You will be responsible to:

Manages the IT infrastructure within Hovione, including the physical network as well as server applications and software. Configures, installs, maintains and upgrades server applications and hardware.

 

  • Assist the senior members of the team in this system administration duties
  • Participate in the maintenance of the IT infrastructure performance by monitoring, analyzing, turning and troubleshooting hardware, software, networks and operating systems
  • Propose and execute the selection, installation, configuration and testing of IT infrastructure components
  • Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, escalate when appropriate, and resolve IT infrastructure problems
  • Propose and execute systems upgrades in order to keep IT infrastructure updated with current technology status
  • Cooperate with the IT Helpdesk team and perform the necessary tasks to fulfill service level agreements with end users and systems’ availability
  • Keep the IT infrastructure inventory updated
  • Execute, monitor and propose improvements to the backup management system
  • Propose improvements to disaster recovery policies, procedures and participate in actual disaster recovery situations and test scenarios
  • Propose and implement policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure systems’ security through secure system access, monitoring, control, and routine security evaluations.
  • Ensure all assigned tasks are properly planned and delivered on time, safely, efficiently, reliably and in a cost-effective manner
  • Propose improvements to the area as appropriate and solve problems, namely of operational procedures and policies
  • Make quality and timely decisions within the IT infrastructure administration tasks under her / his responsibility
  • Gather relevant data to inform the decision makers regarding complex issues Comply with all IT governance, standards and policies in practice in Hovione
  • Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and to comply with environmental, health & safety rules/procedures, regulations and codes of practice.
  • Execute professional activities in compliance with GMP and HSE guidelines, internal and external requirements as well as promote the implementation and maintenance of Hovione´s policies, systems and procedures (COPs, HBR, SOPs and others).

We are looking to recruit a Candidate:

  • University, or equivalent, qualification in Information Technology or similar scientific field (mandatory)
  • Typically requires 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT Infrastructure administration or as a helpdesk or IT Technician with technical qualifications in multiple IT infrastructure disciplines.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of current technology regarding IT infrastructure disciplines
  • Fluency in English is a requirement
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of the MS Office package
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of IT Service Management
  • Must have the Knowledge, Experience and Skills to conduct their tasks in accordance with the rules and procedures set down.
