You will be responsible to:

The Workplace Platforms Lead is the senior technical authority responsible for the strategy, design, and technical governance of end-user computing and workplace platforms across the organisation. The role ensures workplace technologies are secure, compliant, scalable, and user-centric, enabling productivity and collaboration while minimizing digital friction.

This role owns the platform direction and technical standards for workplace services, while execution and service performance are delivered through a combination of internal teams and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).

 

  • Act as the technical owner and design authority for workplace and end-user platforms, including Microsoft 365, Intune endpoint management, SCCM, mobile device management, identity-integrated productivity tools, email, and collaboration services.
  • Define and maintain global technical standards, reference architectures, and configuration baselines for workplace platforms.
  • Own and govern endpoint build and deployment models, covering base image lifecycle management and modern device provisioning approaches (including Autopilot), ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant adoption.
  • Translate business, security, and user experience requirements into scalable and compliant workplace platform designs.
  • Provide technical governance and oversight of workplace services delivered by Managed Service Providers, ensuring adherence to approved standards, designs, and operational procedures.
  • Review and technically approve complex changes, upgrades, and new capabilities affecting workplace platforms.
  • Partner with Cybersecurity, Compliance, Enterprise Technology, and Digital Product teams to ensure workplace platforms meet security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive standardization, automation, and lifecycle management across workplace technologies to improve reliability, cost efficiency, and user experience.
  • Support global initiatives such as cloud adoption, zero trust, and modern device management through robust platform design.
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert during audits, assessments, and compliance activities, including validation of workplace controls.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to Specialists and Associates supporting end-user services.

We are looking to recruit a Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. (mandatory)
  • Advanced certifications in Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity, or cloud platforms. (desired)
  • Significant experience (typically 7–10+ years) in end-user computing or workplace platform roles within complex enterprise environments. (mandatory)
  •  Proven experience designing and governing modern workplace platforms at scale. (mandatory)
  •  Experience working in regulated industries. (desired)
  • Experience operating within an MSP-based or service-integrated delivery models. (desired)
