This role is an exciting opportunity for someone to join us and shape and build our PM academy, identifying and creating the tools we use and best practices within the PMO group.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of the Project Management vision, strategy and measures, in alignment with the overall business and PMO Functional Head.
Define, implement and sustain project management best practices (e.g. PMBOK/PMI®), supporting portfolio management and effective execution of internal and customer projects.
Develop and maintain the PM Academy, ensuring robust training and development paths for Project Managers and Functional Leads.
Establish governance frameworks, hierarchies and relationships for internal and external projects.
Monitor portfolio, program and project performance (planned vs actual), including relevant KPIs.
Implement and oversee a continuous improvement system for PM processes, templates and tools.
Drive stakeholder engagement across the organisation, contributing to internal and external customer satisfaction and organisational objectives.
Ensure area deliverables are completed on time and in full.
Assign and support Program and Project Managers to programmes/projects, and provide guidance on PM capabilities and competencies for assignments outside the CoE.
Manage team members (recruitment, integration, training, performance), contribute to budgeting and resource allocation, and ensure compliance with GMP, HSE and company policies
