Internal Communications Trainee

The Internal Communications Trainee supports communication activities in Portugal and contributes to selected global communication projects.

This role helps ensure that employees receive clear, engaging, and visually appealing communication across different platforms.

Internal Communications – Portugal

• Support the planning and execution of internal communication campaigns
• Draft and edit internal communication materials (emails, app content, posters etc.)
• Create visual materials and artworks using Canva (e.g. Teams backgrounds Posters, Visuals for internal posts, simple animations, Campaign banners and creative assets)
• Ensure visual consistency and alignment with brand guidelines
• Manage and update content on the One Hovione app
• Support internal events with communication materials and visuals

Global Projects

• Contribute to selected global and other site communication initiatives
• Support the creation of communication toolkits and campaign materials
• Adapt global content for local audiences when needed
• Assist with tracking and reporting communication activities
• Develop and deploy global internal communication contests

• Degree in Communication, Marketing, Multimedia, Design, or similar field is preferred but not mandatory;
• Knowledge of Canva;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Strong sense of layout, typography, and visual consistency;
• Digital mindset and interest in communication platforms;
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written);
• Creative and detail-oriented;
• Proactive and eager to learn;
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks;
• Strong written communication skills;
• Team player with a positive attitude.
