Lead site master planning and long-term facility capacity strategy aligned with business growth and manufacturing network needs
Translate business strategy and operational requirements into practical, scalable engineering and design solutions
Define and contribute to User Requirement Specifications (URS), ensuring alignment with process needs, ergonomics, productivity, and user wellbeing
Supervise project execution to ensure delivery:
On time
Within budget
In compliance with cGMP, HSE, and regulatory standards
Support budget definition, planning, and timeline management, ensuring realistic and achievable project execution
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving technical and operational challenges
Collaborate within a matrix organization, working closely with:
Engineering
Operations
Quality & Compliance
Procurement
External suppliers and contractors
Support Purchasing in supplier selection and contract awarding, ensuring optimal technical solutions and support technical bid evaluations and supplier selection
Drive implementation of advanced technologies and engineering standards to optimize safety, quality, reliability, and cost efficiency
Capture lessons learned and user feedback to improve future projects
Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including:
Engineering processes
CAPEX optimization
Productivity enhancements
Represent the company in interactions with external authorities and regulatory bodies, as required
Promote innovation and support the development of intellectual property (IP)
Provide technical guidance as Architecture SME, supporting Internal and external design teams, ensuring high standards in design and execution
Define facility layout strategies ensuring GMP-compliant flows, segregation principles, and cleanroom zoning concepts
Act as Architecture design authority, defining and governing global architectural standards across Hovione facilities
Integrate sustainability and energy efficiency principles into facility design and master planning
University degree in Architecture or Engineering (Civil or equivalent)
Architectural background is strongly preferred, particularly with experience in industrial or master planning environments
Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial or construction project environments; 15+ years preferred
Proven experience in:
Facility design and master planning
End-to-end project execution in operational environments
Multidisciplinar Architecture & engineering projects
Working within matrix organizations and complex stakeholder environments
Industry Experience
Experience in Pharma or Healthcare environments considered a plus
Experience in Food or other regulated industries strongly preferred

Fluency in English
Proficient in MS Office and standard architecture & engineering tools (AutoCAD, Navisworks, Project, etc.)
