You will be responsible to:

Define and implement Quality Control (QC) techniques to ensure the quality of raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and analytical services in compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.Execute, manage, and support analytical projects, ensuring timely, safe, compliant, and cost-effective delivery.Perform and coordinate analytical activities including:
  • Method development
  • Method creation and transfer
  • Method validation
  • Protocol preparation
  • Report preparation
Propose and implement new analytical methodologies based on project requirements.Troubleshoot analytical issues, conduct investigations, and escalate complex problems when required.Review and verify analytical data, documentation, and work generated by the team to ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards.Investigate deviations, incidents, and CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions).Act as a liaison between QC, internal stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams.Support onboarding, training, and development of new team members.Perform equipment maintenance, calibration, and qualification activities.Maintain laboratory records, notebooks, logbooks, and electronic systems in accordance with GLP and GMP requirements.Accurately utilize laboratory information systems and analytical software.Conduct analytical testing using techniques such as HPLC, GC, and other laboratory instrumentation.Interpret analytical results and ensure accurate documentation and data integrity.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, KPI reporting, audits, inspections, and regulatory investigations.Promote a strong culture of quality, compliance, safety, and operational excellence.Ensure compliance with all GMP, HSE, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.

We are looking to recruit a Candidate:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in:
    • Chemistry
    • Chemical Engineering
    • Pharmaceutical Sciences
    • Biochemistry
    • Health Sciences
    • Related scientific discipline

Experience

  • Experience or training within a Quality Control laboratory environment.
  • Hands-on experience in Analytical Chemistry and QC activities preferred.
  • Experience with method development, validation, and transfer is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of GMP and ICH guidelines is desirable.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of analytical techniques including:
    • HPLC
    • GC
    • Other chromatographic and analytical methodologies
  • Familiarity with Empower software is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles, laboratory practices, and GMP requirements.
  • Experience with laboratory information management systems and electronic documentation.
